Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler are the new SmackDown tag-team champions after defeating The Street Profits during last night's episode of the blue brand.
"The Dirty Dawgs" (we're not sure if that's their official team name, but they both wear the t-shirt!) took out Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins with steel chairs last week in an attempt to soften them up for a potential title match, and the strategy paid off.
After targeting Ford's bad leg all through the bout, the heels were ultimately able to isolate him by keeping Dawkins out of the ring, and scored the victory with an impressive-looking spinebuster into a zigzag double-team finisher.
The Profits had a good run with the gold, so it's nice to see them put over a young, up and coming team that could really use the push. In all seriousness, Ziggler and Roode have been an impressive tandem thus far, so we can't see too many fans having a problem with this.
