The main event of SmackDown - believe it or not - was a Tag-Team Gauntlet Match to determine which team would enter the Elimination Chamber Tag-Team Championship bout last, thus giving that tandem a major advantage. Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler won. Still awake?
Look, we try to keep the rants to a minimum here, but SmackDown continues to be just awful every single week. Like, embarrassingly bad. They have the talent, they're just not utilizing them (Sami Zayne, Cesaro and Shinsuke [frick]ing Nakamura are currently jobbing to Braun Strowman - at the same time!), and even the segments that have potential (Roman Reigns facing off with Goldberg, the nWo) are mishandled.
Raw isn't that much better but at least there do tend to be bright spots most weeks (his past Monday's show was very good), while SmackDown is a blank, soulless chasm of garbage.
Anyway, rant over. Ziggler and Roode now have a better chance of winning the Tag-Titles than the other teams in the match. How exciting!
