Dolph Ziggler is back, and he has his sights set on Kofi Kingston's WWE Championship.

After Kofi picked up a win over Sami Zayn on SmackDown LIVE, the Showoff attacked from behind and absolutely destroyed the champ. The assault only ended when Ziggler put a chair across Kingston's neck and rammed him into the announce table, before stamping on it repeatedly.

Nobody had any idea why Dolph would launch such a sickening assault on Kofi, but he later came out to explain. It turns out Ziggler was simply pissed that Kofi took his opportunity in the Elimination Chamber and went on to become WWE Champion, which is something The Showoff feels "should have been him."

It's also been revealed that Dolph will face Kofi for the title at the upcoming Super ShowDown event in Saudi Arabia.
