Dolph Ziggler faced WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg at SummerSlam in 2019, and the former reflected on that match in a new interview. The Showoff has taken a number of shots at the WCW Legend since then, though it doesn't appear the company has any plans for a rematch.
In the video below, the former WWE Champion is asked whether he ever thinks about dying in the ring. It was at that point Ziggler took the opportunity to take aim at Goldberg.
"A lot of times you don’t [think about dying in the ring] but maybe if you’re in there with Goldberg...you think about it a lot more," he said without so much a hint of irony. We're sure The Undertaker would probably agree after his clash with Goldberg in Saudi Arabia, while the WWE Hall of Famer very nearly killed himself after he was concussed slamming his head into a door.
Goldberg's next opponent (victim?) is going to be Bobby Lashley at this Thursday's Crown Jewel PPV in Saudi Arabia. That's expected to end their rivalry, and will be "No Holds Barred."
