Dominik Mysterio is now a huge part of RAW thanks to his feud with Seth Rollins, and in recent weeks, we've seen his rival bring up the classic custody storyline between his father Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero from back in 2005. Ultimately, that would culminate in a ladder match to determine who would gain custody of Dominik at SummerSlam

At the time, Dominik was only 8-years-old, and he admitted in an interview with Metro that teachers would often ask who his real father actually was.

"For me, it was harder to have to explain to the kids at school who my dad was. I think that was the most challenging part," Dominik said. "‘Oh yeah, 100% people were coming up to me asking me – even teachers, they were like, 'Who’s your father, Dominik?' I’d be like, 'Well it’s Rey Mysterio, this guy right here, Oscar.' It was crazy.’"

Dominik would go on to say that he feels blessed to have worked with Guerrero and noted that he loved skipping school to travel with him and his father.

Moving forward, it remains to be seen how much of an impact Dominik will have on RAW, but he's currently part of a main event storyline, so is very much back in the spotlight after a childhood spent in the squared circle.
