"Dirty" Dominik Mysterio has quickly become one of WWE's most despised heels, no great surprise given the way he betrayed his father WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and his former "Mami," Rhea Ripley.
During a recent interview, Dominik - who was seemingly in character - looked to generate even more controversy by calling out the likes of CM Punk and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
"First of all, last time I was with CM Punk, I was - what? Eleven years old?" Mysterio asked. "And he thought he was a big man [who sang] Happy Birthday to my loser sister. But, anyways, I would like to see him now, you know? I was my dad's height - 5 foot 5 inches, 5 foot 2 inches - so, now I'm 6 foot 1 inches, 200 pounds. I've seen [Punk] wrestle...so, let's see what you got, old man."
When Punk returned to WWE, he actually wrestled Mysterio at a few non-televised WWE Live events, presumably to shake off any ring rust he had after leaving AEW.
A feud between these two would likely be welcomed by fans, something Punk didn't dismiss when he recently said, "I did some dark matches with Dominik [Mysterio], and I think I could do some pretty great television with him. I think him and Liv [Morgan] are spectacular."
Back to Dirty Dom, though, and he was then asked about comments he previously made about The Mummy sequel being the only "good" thing pro-wrestler-turned-actor, The Rock, has ever done.
"Honestly, I'm just tired of these old heads, you know, thinking they can hang and come in here with this younger generation. At the end of the day, I'm my own person, I'm the greatest Mysterio of all time. These old heads want to come in and get it? They all can," Mysterio stated. "CM Punk, The Rock? Don't matter. They're just mad because they don't have hair, and I have the best hair and the best mustache."
It's now been nearly two years since The Judgement Day's "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio turned on his father Rey Mysterio. They've since squared off at WrestleMania twice, with Dom picking up some big wins over his dad on RAW a couple of months ago.
However, the expectation among fans is that the younger Mysterio will eventually retire his father at WrestleMania, likely in a Mask vs. Hair match.
