Don't Expect WWE To Introduce The Women's Tag-Team Championships Before EVOLUTION
It's been rumored for some time now that WWE may be planning to introduce tag-team championships for the women's division, but it doesn't sound like it's going to happen for quite a while. More past the jump.
Last night on Raw, Stephanie McMahon announced that an all-female Superstar PPV titled Evolution would be taking place this August.
This has been something that's been speculated upon for a while now, along with the introduction of women's tag-team titles - but it doesn't sound like the latter is on the agenda... at least, not yet.
Stephanie McMahon was interviewed by Sky Sports following the Evolution announcement, and said that while the tag-titles were something they had been thinking about, it won't be happening "quite yet."
"Not quite yet but that's absolutely something we've heard loud and clear from our fan base and it's something we're keen on implementing as soon as we are able to."
