Drew McIntyre Brutalises CM Punk On RAW After DESTROYING The Second City Saint's Friendship Bracelet!

Last night's RAW saw CM Punk try and fail to move on from his rivalry with Drew McIntyre, but the Scottish Psychopath had other plans, something that was evident from a brutal attack by the dastardly heel.

At Bash in Berlin this past weekend, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre squared off in a brutal Strap Match. The Scottish Psychopath had picked up a win over the Second City Saint at SummerSlam, but it was Punk who overcame the much bigger Superstar in Germany.

During last night's RAW, Punk hit the ring to say McIntyre was behind him and he was now coming after Gunther's World Heavyweight Championship.

Reminding everyone that he's there to make money, not friends, Punk celebrated with fans after seemingly setting the stage for a match with the formidable Austrian. However, it was then that McIntyre attacked!

He violently attacked Punk, hitting him with multiple Claymores and destroying the friendship bracelet which has been front and centre in a rivalry that began during the Royal Rumble in January. McIntyre shoved the beads in Punk's mouth and hit another Claymore before being dragged away.

Punk, meanwhile, was stretchered out of the building, only for McIntyre to attack again, ripping off his neck brace and gouging the Best in the World's eyes.

We're totally getting that Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood, right?

On Saturday night, Punk said, "I think I hurt Drew and I can hopefully move on. I have gold on my mind. It means a lot to me. I look at the miles ahead not the miles behind and I still have a lot of work to do. Coming back eight months ago, getting put on the shelf for six of those months and finally coming back and getting my confidence back and getting the W is gonna go a long way."

"That's definitely the end of me and Drew McIntyre," he later reiterated. "What's next for me is I'm going to take a long hot shower, I'm going to try and find some donuts, and I got myself a main event to watch. I'm very interested in the result. Gunther vs. Randy Orton. And some people like to say, 'May the best man win.'"

"In this case, may the best man win because the better man is coming for you. I want the gold. I'm coming for you, sucka."

That strap match was excellent, and Glass Phil actually seemed to make it through unscathed, but this sure does feel like they're writing him off TV for a while to deal with an undisclosed injury . . .
