On Monday's episode of RAW, Ric Flair announced that Drew McIntyre is the final member of his team at Crown Jewel. Now, it's said the segment was meant to be the start of a main event push for the Scottish Psychopath as it sounds like the company is finally ready to put him at the top of the card after a number of stop and star pushes since he hit the main roster.

"I expected that McIntyre would win because it’s his first match back and I know they really want to get him going now where Ricochet is more of a long term project," Dave Meltzer revealed on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio. He added that the idea was to make his match with Ricochet as hot as possible, something which was definitely achieved on Monday.

It's no secret that Vince McMahon is a big fan of McIntyre and it's definitely about time he receive a main event push as he had an incredible run as NXT Champion. It's possible he'll pick up the win at Crown Jewel but we'll have to wait and see on that front.

What do you guys think?
