Drew McIntyre Retains The WWE Title Against Randy Orton In An Ambulance Match At CLASH OF CHAMPIONS

Drew McIntyre is still WWE Champion after defeating Randy Orton in an Ambulance Match at Clash of Champions last night.

The match itself was pretty much what you'd expect for the most part, with both men trading hard shots and attempting to land their respective finishers. McIntyre did get some help, however, as the Legend Killer's destructive ways came back to bite him.

The Big Show, Christian and Shawn Michaels all intervened at certain points in the bout, ensuring that Orton stayed down whenever he looked like he might be gaining the upper hand. In the end, Drew hit a Claymore on his opponent before finishing him off with a Punt Kick of his own and tossing him into the ambulance to win the match.

Who was driving? None other than the Nature Boy Ric Flair of course!

This was a decent bout, and it was fun to see some familiar faces show up to gain a measure of revenge on Randy. Some may take issue with the optics that the babyface needed help to win, but at least that gives Orton a reason to demand another shot at the title of this feud were to continue.

It probably won't, though, as Edge is expected to return very soon and reignite their rivalry.
