Last night, Drew McIntyre squared off with Kurt Angle in the main event but before that, he hit the ring and confronted Bobby Lashley after he defeated Finn Balor. After the former backed down from the Scottish Psychopath, it appeared as if McIntyre might be about to help Balor and turn babyface. 

Alas, as much as fans in Manchester, England wanted it to happen, it didn't. Instead, McIntyre hit the Claymore Kick on Balor and made it clear that he's still very much a heel for the time being. 

With Brock Lesnar now Universal Champion, it's unclear what comes next for McIntyre, especially as his feud with the babyface Braun Strowman appears to be at an end. We'll just have to wait and see but the former NXT Champion is more popular than ever these days so big things are coming...
