Randy Orton won a triple-threat match this past Monday on Raw for the right to challenge Drew McIntyre (again) for the WWE title at Clash of Champions later this month, but whatever the outcome of that match turns out to be, it doesn't sound like it'll put an end to this feud.
Tom Colohue of Sportskeeda reckons The Viper and the Scottish Psychopath will continue attempting to kick each other's heads off into the Hell in a Cell PPV before concluding at Survivor Series in November. If true, this supports speculation that Orton will ultimately end up winning the title to set up a championship match with the returning Edge for WrestleMania.
This is just a rumor for now, but it does make sense given everything we've seen over the past few weeks. This is a feud fans have really gotten behind after several obvious "one and done" opponents for McIntyre, so WWE would be smart to draw it out for as long as possible - provided they keep things fresh, of course.
Drew heads into this match at Clash of Champions with a fractured jaw (storyline) thanks to Randy, so we may even see The Legend Killer win the title and McIntyre become the challenger as the angle continues.
