Dual Women's Champion Becky Lynch Refers To First Challenger Lacey Evans As "The New Charlotte"

It looks like Lacey Evans will indeed be the first challenger for Becky Lynch's Women's Championship(s), and The Man has taken to Twitter to throw some shade at the Sassy Southern Belle. Check it out...

Lacey Evans attacked Becky Lynch on Raw this past Monday, but The Man ended up gaining the upper hand and seeing off the recent NXT call-up. She wasn't quite so lucky on SmackDown, though, as Evans laid Lynch out with a devastating Woman's Right.

This has obviously led to speculation that The Sassy Southern Belle will be Becky's first challenger, and sure enough, The Man confirmed as much in a recent Tweet while also referring to Lacey as the "new Charlotte."

Being compared to Charlotte Flair is hardly an insult, but this actually came across as more of a dig at WWE for handing opportunities to female Superstars who look a certain way - which is something Vince McMahon has come under fire for several times in the past.

At any rate, it remains to be seen how Lynch defends her titles. Will Evans challenge for both at once, or individually? It might come down to which show she winds up on after the Superstar Shake-Up.
