FINALLY...it's official. After months of rumours and speculation, it's now been confirmed by both WWE and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson that the man who coined the "SmackDown" phrase is returning to the company this week for the premiere of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX.

As of right now, we have no idea what The Great One will be getting up to but if the show wasn't already a must-watch, it certainly is now!

WWE has been pulling out all the stops to overshadow All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite's debut on TNT and landing The Rock certainly helps. What would you like to see from this wrestling legend on this week's SmackDown? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
