If Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson were to step back in the square circle, a natural final match for the Brahma Bull would be for him to face - and put over - cousin Roman Reigns. That's easier now than ever before considering the fact that The Big Dog is a heel, and it seems The Great One is open to the idea.
Talking to producing partner Hiram Garcia on The Rock's YouTube channel about the book "The Rock: Through The Lens," Johnson reflected on what it was like to work with his cousin on the set of Hobbs & Shaw.
Talking about the box office potential of The Rock vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, he said: "Feels like the one that would make sense, right, would be Roman. In terms of box-office draw..." Garcia then asked who goes over, and Johnson responded: "I know how that conversation goes. ‘Listen, here’s what we’re thinking. Roman beats you now at this WrestleMania. But, listen, before you guys say anything. Then on the next one...that's when..."
He added, "But you know what, the truth is, I would be honored not only to share the ring with Roman and to go back to the WWE. But of course, I would be honored to have him raise his hand in that one."
It's impossible to say if this could actually ever happen, but at least we know that Johnson is now open to the idea...
