ECW Legend Rob Van Dam Explains Why He Hasn't Made A Return To WWE

It's been years since we've seen Rob Van Dam in WWE and while rumours have persisted that he's set to make a return to the company, the ECW legend has now revealed why that's not actually on the cards...

The last time Rob Van Dam was seen in a WWE ring was 2014. He has a decent enough run at the time but it came to a pretty underwhelming end despite the fact that he's had a great deal of success within the company since ECW folded. After all, he’s a former WWE Champion, ECW Champion, four-time Hardcore Champion, six-time Intercontinental Champion, and Tag Team Champion!

Since leaving WWE, RVD has been making the rounds on the independent circuit and when a fan asked him about his absence from the company, he revealed what's standing in the way of that.

As you can see, it appears as if WWE simply doesn't want to pay RVD the money he believes he deserves and seeing as he's probably making a killing on the indy scene for working far fewer dates, you can understand why he wouldn't go back no matter how much fans want it to happen. His legacy can't be ignored, though, and you have to believe we'll see him back in the company one day...
