Edge Has Reservations About Facing Randy Orton In "The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever" At BACKLASH

Edge's mic work has been nothing short of outstanding since he came out of retirement, and The Rated-R Superstar's latest promo from this week's episode of Raw was no different. Check it out...

Edge may have been able to defeat Randy Orton in a last man standing match at WrestleMania, but the Rated-R Superstar doesn't seem quite a confident about facing The Viper in a more traditional wrestling match at Backlash.

Edge accepted Orton's challenge last week, but admitted that his old friend turned bitter caught him off guard with the proposition during another excellent promo on Raw last night. Edge listed off a number of big names known for their pure wrestling ability, pointing out that he hung with them all back in the day. But that was then, and this is now, and the 46-year-old Hall of Famer simply isn't sure he can still perform at that same level.

However, at Backlash, he is going to try his hardest.

Edge vs. Orton may not turn out to be "The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever," but we are certainly looking forward to seeing what these guys deliver at the upcoming pay-per-view.
