Will Edge announce his retirement (again) tonight on Raw?
The Rated-R Superstar suffered a torn triceps during the "Greatest Wrestling Match Ever" against Randy Orton at Backlash last week, and is now recovering at home after undergoing successful surgery to repair the damage. We didn't expect to hear from him for quite a while since it usually takes st least 5 months to heal up from this type of injury, but Edge has now taken to Twitter to reveal that he will be a part of tonight's show.
The Ultimate Opportunist points out that he made his WWE debut exactly 22 years ago to the day, and plans to "update everyone on my future" during Monday Night Raw.
This has obviously led to speculation that Edge intends to go back into retirement, but we think it might be a swerve. Adam Copeland worked too hard to get back in the ring to allow a relatively minor setback (at least compared to some of the other injuries he's suffered over the years) to keep him on the shelf for too long.
We might be wrong, but we fully expect Edge to share some positive news with fans tonight.
