As promised, WWE has issued a storyline update on Edge's condition on the Rated-R Superstar's condition following Randy Orton's attack on RAW a couple of weeks ago. It was previously mentioned that he's resting up at home after being taken to a local medical facility following The Viper's brutal attack.

Now, WWE has noted that while they reached out to Beth Phoenix at Full Sail during last week's NXT, she was unable to offer an update on her husband's condition at the time.

Now, though, a family spokesperson has said that, "Adam continues to recover at home but for now the family respectfully declines any further comment. They ask for everyone to please respect their privacy at this time." In other words, it seems like WWE is going to keep up waiting for his return!

We're bound to see Edge back sooner rather than later, though, especially as the signs are all pointing to him facing Orton at this year's WrestleMania
