Elias Defeats Jeff Jarrett On RAW But, The WWE Hall Of Famer Gets The Last Laugh

As advertised, Elias went one-on-one with WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett tonight on Raw, and even though The Drifter picked up the victory, ol' Double J got the last laugh with a brutal guitar shot...

Jeff Jarrett competed on Raw tonight for the first time in many years, and even though he lost his match against Elias, he doesn't look like he's missed a step in the ring.

Double J and Road Dogg made their way to the ring to sing a fairly horrendous rendition of "With My Baby Tonight" before being interrupted by Elias, who asked Dogg why he wasn't back on SmackDown LIVE tanking their ratings (lol). From their The Drifter and Jarrett had a semi-decent back and forth bout before the younger man hit The Driftaway for the 3-count.

Afterwards, Roadie threw hands with Elias before Jeff walloped him in the back with a guitar... that didn't break! Did Double J bring a real guitar to the ring? The look on Road Dogg's face seemed to suggest so!

This was an entertaining enough segment, but let's hope they don't run it into the ground. Who are we kidding - Elias will almost certainly be taking on Road Dogg next Monday.
