Elias won't be competing in tonight's King of the Ring semifinal match on SmackDown.

The Drifter was originally scheduled to face Chad Gable for the opportunity to head into the final of the prestigious tournament, but WWE now reports that he's been forced to drop out due to an undisclosed injury.

Elias was not expected to win the match, anyway, as another heel (Baron Corbin) punched his ticket to the final last night on Raw. We'll find out who will take his place against Gable in just a few hours time on SmackDown.
