As first reported on last night's WWE Backstage, Elias is the latest WWE Superstar to sign a new, multi-year contract. No details were revealed about how many years he's signed for but WWE has been signing Superstars up for at least five years since the launch of All Elite Wrestling so chances are he won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

Rumours about Elias' WWE future first surfaced a few months back when Randy Orton teased the possibility of him leaving the company on social media. It seems he was just trolling, though, as Elias must be happy if he's decided to stick around for the foreseeable.

Since making his return from injury, Elias has been working as a babyface and has mostly been doing musical performances rather that competing in matches. He has entered the Royal Rumble, though, so we can look forward to seeing him in action then. Are you guys happy that Elias has signed a new deal with WWE?
