Elias is back, and he is not happy with Jeff Hardy.
The Charismatic Enigma faced-off against AJ Styles (who is now on Raw) and Seth Rollins (who has been drafted to SmackDown) in a triple-threat match last night, and just as it looked like he was about to gain the upper hand, The Drifter struck with a guitar shot across the back and allowed Styles to score the pinfall victory.
Backstage, Elias explained that he was out for revenge after Hardy hit him with his car (it was actually supposed to be Sheamus, who framed Jeff for the attack) and put him on the shelf for months. Next week, he'll be holding a special return concert which he wants Hardy to pay close attention to.
Elias has bounced back between heel and face more times than we can count over the last couple of years, but he's definitely more effective as a bad guy so that's something. How well this concert is going to go down without a live crowd remains to be seen, however.
