Well, this is weird. SmackDown Superstar Elias has taken to social media to tell fans he's unsure whether he'll be cleared in time to compete at WrestleMania... despite it having already been taped!

Everyone from Triple H to Stephanie McMahon and Roman Reigns have commented on WrestleMania being taped in advance this year, but it seems Elias didn't get the memo. During last week's SmackDown, he took a huge bump courtesy of King Corbin, and now says that he's unsure about being able to compete at the Show of Shows.

It's unclear whether Elias was one of the names who pulled out of the show which was taped last week, but we should know more about his status following tonight's episode of SmackDown

Either way, it's a little bizarre for Elias to release a video like this, especially when everyone knows that WrestleMania has already taken place. Still, you can't fault him for attempting to create the illusion of reality with the Showcase of the Immortals, especially when we know it's not going to be anything like what we're used to seeing.

No spoilers have leaked online about the show despite it being taped last week, and Triple H has promised some surprises for the WrestleMania which is being billed as being too big for one night.

Keep checking back here as we'll bring you guys more WrestleMania updates as they continue coming in!
