Emma Seemingly Responds To Her Shocking Release From WWE

Yesterday, it was revealed that WWE has decided to release Emma and while we all wait for some backstage news on why the Australian wrestler has parted ways with them, she's reacted to the news on Twitter.

If WWE was always planning on firing Emma, why did she fare so well against Asuka both at TLC and RAW the next night? That's the question being asked by wrestling fans following her release from the company and it's generated an awful lot of speculation about there being more to this story than meets the eye. We'll have to wait and see on that front but Emma appears to have reacted to that.

As you can see below, she shared a broken heart emoji shortly after the news broke, a sign that she didn't see this coming and that the Australian wrestler has indeed been fired from the company.

It is, of course, possible that she requested her release because she's unhappy with the way she's been used and that she was simply sharing her disappointment about having to say goodbye to WWE. Either way, Darren Young was at a WWE related event on Saturday before he was let go, so it seems that no one saw this coming! Stay tuned for updates on this bizarre situation as we have them.
