Last week, WWE announced that Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff have been hired as Executive Directors. The former will take charge of RAW, while the latter is set to take control of SmackDown Live and both men will be reporting directly to Vince McMahon.

Bischoff, meanwhile, will also be working closely with FOX executives when the blue brand moves there this October and he's now commented in his new role in WWE for the first time.

As you can see, he's clearly excited to get started but what we don't know is whether he's starting immediately or at some point in the coming weeks. Either way, one very interesting rumour that's doing the rounds claims that he could appear on next week's episode of SmackDown Live.

Could Heyman and Bischoff end up being on-screen authority figures as well?
