Last night's episode of SmackDown Live was the first for new Executive Director Eric Bischoff. Now, PW Insider reports that he was present at production meetings and was seen spending a lot of time with members of the WWE creative team.

Despite that, it's said that there was no real change to the taping process and it's hard to say whether he changed anything about the show.

It's noted that everyone is taking their time with Bischoff's transition so he can familiarise himself with everything and he recently revealed that he has his own office in WWE's Stamford headquarters. That seemingly confirms reports that his role will mostly revolve around working with FOX as the blue brand moves there.

What are your thoughts on last night's SmackDown Live?
