The remaining pieces of the puzzle for WWE Stand and Deliver 2025 are fitting together as we now know who will be facing Ricky Saints for the NXT North American Championship.
Last week on NXT, Saints called out Ethan Page, only to be met by NXT Heritage Cup champion Lexis King, followed by Eddy Thorpe and Wes Lee, before Page attacked Saints from behind. This led to an announcement of a Fatal 4-Way No. 1 contender's match to determine who would get an opportunity to face Saints for the title.
Tonight on NXT, Ricky Saints was on the booth for commentary during the match until Page poked his buttons, getting Saints thrown out of the ringside area. Page eventually scored the pinfall over King to earn himself the title shot.
The NXT North American Champion got a big of revenge from earlier, though, as he speared Page after the match.
Just a few months ago, Ricky Saints was waiting to get released from All Elite Wrestling. Immediately upon being let out of AEW, he joined the NXT roster and hasn't looked back, quickly winning the NXT North American Championship to break a record previously set by Ethan Page for the quickest anyone's ever had their debut and then won a title on the brand.
WWE Stand & Deliver takes place this Saturday, April 19, 2025 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for WWE Stand & Deliver, starting with a Countdown pre-show at 12pm ET, followed by the main card beginning at 1 pm ET.
