The Royal Rumble PLE took place yesterday evening and Charlotte Flair and Jey Uso are now heading to WrestleMania. The latter eliminating John Cena to win the 30-man match has shocked fans, particularly after his recent loss at World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.
There were surprise returns in both matches; in the men's bout, after Carmelo Hayes took out Akira Tozawa, Triple H told IShowSpeed that he'd be entering the match (where he was promptly destroyed by Bron Breakker).
TNA World Champion Joe Hendry made a surprise appearance, as did the returning AJ Styles. The latter is using his old entrance music, an indication he'll be a babyface during this final WWE run.

On the women's side, NXT's Roxanne Perez entered at #3 and ended up being the runner-up in the match after being eliminated by Flair. Lash Legend, Jaida Parker, Stephanie Vaquer, and Giulia were also on hand to highlight the developmental brand.
Jordynne Grace made her official WWE debut and WWE Hall of Famers Trish Stratus and Nikki Bella shocked fans by entering the match. Of course, the biggest news was the return of Alexa Bliss!
