As previously announced, the Mixed Match challenge is set to return, with teams such as Alexa Bliss/Braun Strowman and The Miz/Asuka reuniting along with several new teams involving WWE champion AJ Styles, Smackdown Live Women’s champion Charlotte Flair, and Finn Balor. The premiere episode will feature two matches instead of the usual one, and this format will be the new norm going forward.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, MMC will actually move to 30 minutes instead of 20 minutes. This will push back 205 Live’s start time to 10:30pm ET and will likely cut the cruiserweight show short.

MMC debuted on Facebook Live and will continue to stream on that platform. However, whereas season 1 streamed exclusively in the United States, season two will also stream in Germany, Mexico, Australia, France, Indonesia, Spain, Thailand, The Philippines and Vietnam.

The special series will run until December 16th when the finalist teams face off at Tables, Ladders and Chairs PPV.
