After regaining the SmackDown Women's Championship in what many felt was a cheap victory at SummerSlam, Becky Lynch put her title on the line against Bianca Belair at Extreme Rules last night.
It was a great match, and one that saw both women put on a superb show. "The Man" was able to lock on the Disarm-Her for the third time in the closing few moments, but Belair powered out and looked close to victory before a surprise return took place. Yes, Sasha Banks is back, and she attacked both women in order to cause the DQ finish.
After hitting both Lynch and Belair with the backstabber, The Boss made it clear that she's coming for the SmackDown Women's title, and it looks like we could now get a three-way rivalry for that.
Lynch and Banks have plenty of history in WWE, but throwing Belair into the mix promises to freshen things up. We can only hope that, after defeating Carmella, Liv Morgan is also included in some way.
