The storyline between WWE Champion AJ Styles and Samoa Joe has been pretty bizarre with the focal point of that being Styles' family and Joe's desire to become their new "daddy" because the Phenomenal One is too busy on the road to look after them. Making things personal between these two hasn't really worked out and things took another disappointing turn during last night's show.
After Paige started SmackDown Live by saying she considered Joe, we learned that Styles is holed up at home and unwilling to leave his family until he knows his Super Show-Down is on a plane to Australia. Fans in the building weren't happy and that was met with boos as well as chants of "F*** You Family!" Honestly, this doesn't make Styles look great and it will be good to wrap things up.
As for who will walk out of Australia with the WWE Championship, it's hard to say. We know that The Miz or Daniel Bryan will be the next challenger for the title, though, so stay tuned for updates.
