Sources claimed earlier this week that WWE had interest in Japanese star Meiko Satomura for this year’s Mae Young Classic, and now the media outlet is reporting Satomura is confirmed for this year’s all-female tournament. Satomura, 38, is a founder of the Sendai Girls promotion in Japan and is also known for her work in the UK indie scene, competing for promotions such as Fight Club: PRO and Pro Westling: EVE.

While The Tokyo Sports report is claiming that Satomura will take part in the WWE tournament, there has been no official announcement from either WWE or Satomura regarding her appearance in the Classic:
