Finn Balor Reveals Whether We Could See "The Demon" Return As He Continues To Focus On "The Prince"

Former NXT Champion Finn Balor recently returned to WWE's main roster as part of SmackDown, and he's now weighed in on whether we could see "The Demon" return despite his focus currently being on "The Prince."

Finn Balor recently returned to SmackDown after another successful run in NXT. Since then, he's been going after Universal Champion Roman Reigns, but after a dominating win over Baron Corbin last night, The Prince was left on the mat after a brutal attack from the Head of the Table.

Now, it's no secret that WWE dropped the ball on "The Demon" character on the main roster, and Balor has said in the past returning to that would be a "step back" for him.

He's still asked about the possibility on a regular basis, though, and made it clear in a recent interview that he's sticking with his new Prince persona for the time being. "You’re hitting me with the hard questions. Yeah, obviously yeah. I feel like ‘The Demon’ definitely has a future, but right now I’m very focused on the‘ Prince’ and this current invention of the character and the direction that we’re going in. I’m sure we’ll get back to ‘The Demon’ at some stage."

John Cena is slated to face Reigns for the title at SummerSlam, but it definitely feels like Balor could be added into the match somehow (hopefully not to take the loss to protect his competitors).
