The former Smackdown Tag Team champion was highlighted in the '
Press & Guide' article and it was noted that his WWE contract expires in mid-July. A new deal has yet to be inked and Rhyno states that he would love continuing to wrestle for another eight years, but may ultimately leave the company despite his love for working in WWE:
“I love working with WWE,” he said.
“They’re great. But I might have go somewhere else. I don’t know yet.”
Weirdly, Rhyno’s profile is under the alumni section even though he is still a full-time WWE superstar at the moment. The inaugural Smackdown Tag Team champion is scheduled for the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 35. Since moving to Monday Night RAW with Heath Slater in 2017, the duo have been nothing more than comedy fodder on the flagship brand. Perhaps there most notable storyline is when Constable Corbin “fired” Rhyno after losing a singles match to Heath Slater back in December. We’ll keep you updated with this story as it progresses.
