It's been a while since we've heard anything from John Morrison, but it looks like "The Mayor of Slamtown" is now set to make his way back to his old WWE stomping grounds.

The news hasn't been made official yet, but PWI reckons Morrison, who has held multiple Intercontinental, EWC and Tag-Team Championships in WWE, has signed a new contract, so we should get confirmation fairly soon.

The talented wrestler, who has also gone my Johnny Impact, Johnny Mundo and various other names since leaving the company (we assume he'll revert back to John Morrison upon his return), has also carved out an impressive acting career, and appeared in the first season of Netflix's GLOW.
