The WWE RAW Superstar has released an interesting statistic about his status on the flagship show in 2018.
Apparently, the former United States champion has yet to have a match on RAW since being transferred from the blue brand in the superstar shakeup.
In fact, the last time Ryder wrestled on the main show of RAW or Smackdown Live was back in January in a #1 contender’s Fatal 4-way match. Since then, the WWE veteran has been mostly wrestling on Main Event.
It’s unknown when the former Intercontinental champion’s contract ends with the company, but with Ryder being only 33-years-old, perhaps the Long Island native should risk leaving the WWE and venture out into the independent scene if he truly misses wrestling.
Of course, leaving doesn't guarantee success on the indie scene like Cody, but Ryder is a talented superstar and being able to showcase his skills outside of the WWE can actually help his career. Just look at Drew McIntyre, Sami Callihan, Juice Robinson and many other wrestlers who revived their careers since leaving the company.
