WWE has revealed the latest names of forty up-and-coming talent for tryouts and the most notable names are Lance Anoa’i and former Lucha Underground star Ivelisse Velez. Anoa’i is the cousin of former WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns and the grandson of WWE Hall of Famer Afa the Wild Samoan.

Ivelisse is no stranger to the WWE; The talent got her start in Tough Enough back in 2011 and though she didn’t win, the former LU wrestler ended up with a developmental contract. Velez was in Florida Championship Wrestling and then NXT from 2011-2012. Ivelisse has talked about her release in the past, stating that reporting Bill DeMott was probably the reasoning for the company letting her go.

Since then, Velez is notable for her time in Lucha Underground, where she would win the Lucha Underground Trios Championship twice. After the fourth season officially ended in November, Velez voiced her frustration over her contract situation with the promotion a short time later. She filed a class action lawsuit against Lucha Underground back in February and was finally granted her release in late March.
