The last time we saw Ronda Rousey in WWE, she lost the
RAW Women's Championship to Becky Lynch at
WrestleMania. During an appearance on Corey Graves' After The Bell podcast this week, the Baddest Woman on the Planet talked about missing being on the road and getting to work live, non-televised shows.
"I miss live shows so much," she said. "I really do like I wish I could show up randomly at live shows. I wish that could just make sense. I know it doesn't really, but that's what I miss the most because I would never do hair and makeup on those days. We would just hang out in the locker room until we had to go out there and do it."
"I love the comradery, like the kind of laid back feeling of live show days, and then just jump in the car afterwards and go to the next town and definitely not being able to find food and just eat beef jerky all night. I love that." She also teased the possibility of making a surprise appearance at a future WWE Live event.
Of course, the big question on the minds of fans is when Rousey will, in fact, step back into the squared circle. Graves asked that very question but her answer was frustratingly vague. "Probably whenever the hell I feel like it," Rousey said. "If they just let me show up at live events, probably very soon."
It would be great to see Rousey back in WWE but it's impossible to say when it will happen, especially after she failed to return during the Royal Rumble this past Sunday. Still, you never know what might happen on the Road to WrestleMania and there's a chance WWE and Rousey have some surprises in store for us.
