Former SMACKDOWN Women's Champion Asuka Responds To Her Title Loss On Social Media

Smackdown Live saw the crowning of a new women's champion, Charlotte Flair. The former champion of the blue brand has posted her first response since dropping the title on Tuesday. Check out what Asuka said.

Last night, Charlotte Flair shocked the world and captured the Smackdown Women’s title for the eighth-time in her career, making her the first female to ever accomplish that feat.

As previously reported by Dave Meltzer, the decision to give Flair the title was made yesterday; however, word is that the company was thinking about the title change for the past several weeks. At the moment, Flair’s title will most likely be a prop when it comes to her WrestleMania 35 match; however, the true question is, where does the former Smackdown Women’s champion go from here?

Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that Asuka will have a big match at WrestleMania this year, though Asuka's future wasn't exactly clear before her title match on Tuesday. After her big match against Flair was said and done, Asuka gave her first response to losing her belt on the blue brand, by simply staying “over”:
