In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer claims that Matt Hardy is expected to leave WWE in a few weeks. While it's previously been reported that the two sides were in agreement from a financial standpoint, Hardy was looking for a better creative direction than the one he currently has.

Unfortunately, it seems that's not something WWE was interested in and Hardy even offered WWE the chance to use his "Free The Delete" YouTube series to bring back his "Broken" character (they said "no"). Now, with his contract set to expire on March 1st, Hardy will soon be a free agent.

His WWE return was always something of a disappointment. Brought back in his Hardy Boyz persona, Matt later became "Woken" but that never really took off and he was ultimately saddled in a disappointing tag team with Bray Wyatt. Then, upon his return late last year, he was essentially used as a jobber to put over younger talent.

Where would you guys like to see Matt appear following his WWE departure?
