Since dropping the RAW Tag Team titles back in the late summer of 2018, Matt Hardy has been teasing retirement from the professional wrestling ring.

The ‘Woken Warrior’ posted about his pelvis and coccyx fusing together, an injury which many believed would be the driving force behind Hardy’s retirement. However, the former RAW Tag Team champion has been very cryptic with messages about his future in wrestling and has posted a statement revealing a potential in-ring return in the future:

So is Matt Hardy retired or not?

His brother Jeff Hardy briefly spoke with WrestlingNews.co, who admitted, “I don’t think he’s really retired.”

The Smackdown Live star was questioned further about Matt’s future inside the WWE ring and he responded: “No, I don’t think that [he’s retired].”
