It appears that Kalisto won’t be leaving the WWE anytime soon.
According to
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, the former United States Champion has re-signed a multi-year deal with the promotion. The contract details are currently unknown; however, WWE has been offering five-year deals to numerous talents lately, so it’s possible that the 33-year-old inked a long-term deal as well.
The news is a bit surprising, as Kalisto voiced his frustration within the company over the last couple of months.
The Lucha House Party member even stated that he had 10 months on his contract back in August, thus signifying that he's ready to leave the promotion.
According to Satin’s report, the reason Kalisto re-signed with the WWE is due to him feeling “as though he still has a lot left to accomplish in the company.” Despite him being sparsely using within the promotion lately, Kalisto is a former two-time United States Champion, Cruiserweight Champion, and NXT Tag Team Champion.
At the moment, there’s no word on the length of Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik’s (Kalisto’s Lucha House Party partners) deals with WWE. Metalik has expressed his frustration over his booking in the past as well, so it’s possible that the Lucha House Party member may not re-sign with the company.
