Kevin Owens recently caught up with Lilian Garcia to discuss a number of topics and confirmed that he's desperate to become a babyface. When he returned to WWE earlier this year, the former Universal Champion was definitely a babyface and even teamed up with The New Day for a while before turning on Kofi Kingston.

On Tuesday night's episode of SmackDown Live, Owens appeared to be portraying a babyface when he insulted Shane McMahon and took out Dolph Ziggler and it turns out that he's keen to have a lengthy run in WWE in that role.

"I’ve been a heel for so long now, I personally am ready for something different. And I also would love to see how successful I can be as a babyface. My ego tells me I’d be great. But I got a tiny taste of it and then for reasons beyond my control for what the show needed, I had to go back the other way. And I’m trying to make it as good as I can. But I still have this need to find out if I’m right."

Owens would be a great babyface but it all depends on whether WWE wants to give him the chance. It seems as if Vince McMahon has given up on him since WrestleMania 33 so here's hoping he can turn things around and try something new in order to rejuvenate his career!
