As noted yesterday, SmackDown Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston now holds the record for most days as tag team champion besting Billy Gunn at 953 days and WWE Hall of Famer Mr. Fuji has 932 days.
Several of his past partners congratulated the WWE veteran, most notably WWE champion CM Punk. Back in October of 2008, Punk and Kingston won the World Tag Team titles on RAW; however, there reign didn’t last long as they lost it in December to the Miz & John Morrison.
