The cast of Denis Villeneuve's upcoming reboot of sci-fi classic Dune continues to grow, and the latest addition is former WWE Superstar Dave Bautista.
The one-time "Animal" has followed in the footsteps of The Rock to carve out a very successful Hollywood career, having appeared in the likes of Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Infinity War and much more. Now, he'll reteam with his Blade Runner 2049 director to play the villainous "Beast" Rabban in the latest adaptation of Frank Herbert's seminal sci-fi novel.
For those unfamiliar with the source material, Dune follows the Atreides family as they relocate to the desolate planet of Arrakis to assume control of the production of the most valuable resource in the galaxy, the Spice Melange. Unfortunately, an act of treachery soon makes an outcast of The Duke Atreides' youngest son Paul, and he must accept his destiny as a powerful prophet of the Arrakis natives known as The Fremen.
