Former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam Teasing A Return To WWE Soon?

The last time the former ECW champion was on WWE television was in 2014 and since then Rob Van Dam has kept a low profile in professional wrestling; however, RVD appears to be teasing a possible come back soon.

Former WWE and ECW champion Rob Van Dam could be making his return to the squared circle sometime soon.

His last match was against Seth Rollins on the August 26th Edition of WWE Main Event, where the former WWE champion defeated the former Intercontinental champion by count out.

Since his departure from WWE in 2014, Van Dam made sporadic appearances at independent events. Reports circulated that the reason that Van Dam hasn’t returned to WWE is due to concussion related issues, which the former WWE champion disputed by stating that there simply wasn’t much interest on WWE’s end for a return.

Van Dam has been very quiet recently and a fan questioned what the former ECW champion had been up to lately, with RVD replying, “You will soon”.

Of course, this is a vague answer that could mean anything, but with the Royal Rumble approaching very soon, it’s possible that the Michigan native could make a surprise one-night return as Van Dam last did business with the company back in 2017 for the 2K video game.
