As many predicted he would after Jinder Mahal name-dropped him a few weeks ago on RAW, The Great Khali showed up at WWE Battleground last night to help The Modern Day Maharajah escape the structure and beat Randy Orton to retain the WWE Championship.

We haven't seen the 7-foot former champ since he lost to Rusev on a Halloween episode of Smackdown back in 2015, and since then he's been focusing on his wrestling school in Punjab and working with TNA (sorry, GFW) behind-the-scenes.

It remains to be seen if Khali will be a permanent fixture or this was just a one-off appearance, but we're sure to find out one way or the other on tonight's installment of RAW..
