Former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly Teases A Possible Return To The Ring
We haven't seen Kelly Kelly in WWE since 2013, & even though the aspiring actress has long since retired from wrestling, the current WAGS LA star says she has thought about getting back into the squared circle.
Former WWE Divas champion Kelly Kelly (real name Barbie Jean Blank) retired from wrestling back in 2013 when she was released from her contract and hasn't competed in the ring since - however, during a recent interview, Kelly revealed that she has considered returning to action.
When asked by E! Online if she'd ever go back to WWE, Kelly responded that she felt she still has a "few more matches" in her.
"Like I tell everybody, there is no feeling like walking through that curtain and having the fans chant your name. That's a feeling unlike anything else. I always say, 'Never say never.' I'm only 30 and my body's still intact. I may have a few more matches in me. You never know!"
Kelly was champ back in an era in which the female Superstars (then known as Divas) were not showcased as much for their wrestling ability as much as their looks, so assuming she hasn't kept up with her training, she might have a tough time fitting in if she were to make a comeback.
