Former WWE RAW Tag Team Champions AOP could be making their return to television soon.

The RAW tag team hasn’t been seen since January due to Akam undergoing knee surgery. John Pollock of POST Wrestling has revealed that the 26-year-old has been cleared for in-ring competition. The duo have reportedly been penciled in to return to the flagship brand for weeks; however, the Wild Card rule has made it hard for the company to squeeze in time for the former WWE RAW Tag Team champions.

There’s no word on when the duo could return to the flagship brand. It’s also not clear on if WWE will bring back Drake Maverick as their manager as well. The company never teased dissension between the 205 Live GM and AOP, but plans always do change and it’s possible that Vince McMahon may not want Maverick back managing the tag team.
